Widely used as an insect repellent. It can be diluted with a base oil and applied directly to the skin in particular on pulse points. Also commonly used in incense sticks, again as a repellant to many forms of insects. It is also effective in garden preparations as a deterrent for cats. To be effective it should be used repeatedly every few days.
