J-OKINI HOJICHA FREEN TEA POWDER

Hojicha is roasted Japanese green tea.  The tea leaves are steamed right after harvesting to stop the oxidation first, which is the same procedure as Sencha, then they are roasted with high temperature, around 200 degrees.

By roasting tea leaves, the bitterness and caffeine are removed.

This tea is finely ground, therefore you can prepare it the same way as Matcha tea.

Ideal for latte and incorporate with your sweet recipes to add earthy flavour.

Hojicha contains a compound called ‘pyrazine’ which may promote relaxation and blood circulation.

You can also make cold Hojicha latte by shaking Hojicha powder with 80ml water in a jar or water bottle and add milk of your choice!
