Fitonasal Concentrated Spray is a protective decongestant to be used for the common cold, allergies, and general congestion and irritation of the nasal cavities caused by acute or chronic problems. The effect produced by Fitonasal Concentrated Spray is due to the collective action of all the components contained in the formulation. One particularly important component is TANNISAL-FL, a molecular complex made up of Tannins, Flavonoids, and Salgemma, which, together with vegetable glycerin, are responsible for the following actions:
1. a non-pharmacological decongestant effect, due to the balanced and standardised osmolality (750 mOsm/Kg), which draws fluids away from the congested mucosa, fluidifying the mucus and making it easier to remove, including the physical action of washing the nasal cavities, without producing dryness or irritation.
2. a protective effect, thanks to its mucoadhesive and antioxidant action, which helps preserve the integrity of the epithelial barrier and promotes the regeneration of the mucosa.
The natural aroma of Eucalyptus and Mint create a pleasant cool sensation. Fitonasal Concentrated Spray does not contain vasoconstricting decongestants, and, thanks to its non-pharmacological mechanism of action, is non-habit forming, doesn’t dry out or irritate the mucosa, and can be used frequently, even for prolonged periods of time. The sterilising filtration system used for production and the microbiologically controlled environment used for packaging help preserve the product with no need for additional preservatives.
Instructions for use:
Dose for adults and children over 12 years of age: administer 2 nebulisations in each nostril, blow the nose and administer again.
Dose for children from 6 to 12 years of age: administer 1 nebulisation in each nostril, blow the nose, and administer again. Rinse the nozzle under a stream of hot water after each use. Apply Fitonasal Concentrated Spray multiple times throughout the day, even in brief succession, and apply again before going to bed.
Warnings:
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity or allergies to one or more components. Use exclusively for nasal administration. Avoid contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse them with water. If symptoms persist seek medical advice.
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry location, away from heat sources and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not discard into the environment after use.
